Information for incoming students
Few words about Osijek. The Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture Osijek is located in Osijek, a city in the northeastern part of Croatia. Take a virtual tour inside our Faculty. Osijek is the fourth-largest city in Croatia and the largest city in the region of Slavonia, which is located in the eastern part of the country. The city is also the cultural, economic, and educational center of the region. It is situated on the right bank of the Drava River and is surrounded by the fertile plains of Slavonia and the hilly region of Baranja. Slavonia and Baranja are known for their rich cultural heritage, beautiful natural scenery, and traditional cuisine, and they offer a unique and authentic experience for visitors.
Osijek is a vibrant city that blends the old and the new. Its historic center boasts well-preserved Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture, including the impressive Tvrđa fortress, which dates back to the 18th century. The city is also home to numerous parks, museums, galleries, and cultural events, as well as modern shopping centers, restaurants, and cafes. Osijek is well connected to other parts of Croatia and Europe by road, rail, and air, with several international airports within driving distance.
At the Faculty of Civil Engineering Osijek, we offer a diverse range of engineering specializations, including civil engineering and architecture and urbanism.
